Bacon-Wrapped Scallop

Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Serves 4
8 slices bacon, cut in half
16 sea scallops, patted dry
Cooking spray
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
16 toothpicks, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
- On a clean work surface, wrap half of a slice of bacon around each scallop and secure with a toothpick.
- Lay the bacon-wrapped scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Spritz the scallops with cooking spray and sprinkle the salt and pepper to season.
- Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 370ºF (188ºC), and set time to 10 minutes.
- Flip the scallops halfway through the cooking time.
- When cooking is complete, the bacon should be cooked through and the scallops should be firm. Remove the scallops from the oven to a plate Serve warm.
