Bacon-Wrapped Scallop s
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Serves 4
8 slices bacon, cut in half
16 sea scallops, patted dry
Cooking spray
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
16 toothpicks, soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
  1. On a clean work surface, wrap half of a slice of bacon around each scallop and secure with a toothpick.
  2. Lay the bacon-wrapped scallops in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Spritz the scallops with cooking spray and sprinkle the salt and pepper to season.
  4. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 370ºF (188ºC), and set time to 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the scallops halfway through the cooking time.
  6. When cooking is complete, the bacon should be cooked through and the scallops should be firm. Remove the scallops from the oven to a plate Serve warm.
