Easy Chicken Fingers
Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Makes 12 chicken fingers
½ cup all-purpose flour
2 cups panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons canola oil
1 large egg
3 boneless and skinless chicken breasts, each cut into 4 strips
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking spray
  1. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Pour the flour in a large bowl. Combine the panko and canola oil on a shallow dish. Whisk the egg in a separate bowl.
  3. Rub the chicken strips with salt and ground black pepper on a clean work surface, then dip the chicken in the bowl of flour. Shake the excess off and dunk the chicken strips in the bowl of whisked egg, then roll the strips over the panko to coat well.
  4. Arrange the strips in the basket.
  5. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 360ºF (182ºC) and set time to 10 minutes.
  6. Flip the strips halfway through.
  7. When cooking is complete, the strips should be crunchy and lightly browned.
  8. Serve immediately.
