Korean Flavor Glazed Chicken Wings
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 25 minutes | Serves 4
Wings:
2 pounds (907 g) chicken wings
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Sauce:
2 tablespoons gochujang
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon agave nectar
2 packets Splenda
1 tablespoon sesame oil
For Garnish:
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
¼ cup chopped green onions
  1. Line the baking pan with aluminum foil, then arrange the rack on the pan.
  2. On a clean work surface, rub the chicken wings with salt and ground black pepper, then arrange the seasoned wings on the rack.
  3. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 400ºF (205ºC) and set time to 20 minutes.
  4. Flip the wings halfway through.
  5. When cooking is complete, the wings should be well browned.
  6. Meanwhile, combine the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl. Stir to mix well. Reserve half of the sauce in a separate bowl until ready to serve.
  7. Remove the air fried chicken wings from the oven and toss with remaining half of the sauce to coat well.
  8. Place the wings back to the oven. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, and set time to 5 minutes.
  9. When cooking is complete, the internal temperature of the wings should reach at least 165ºF (74ºC).
  10. Remove the wings from the oven and place on a large plate. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions. Serve with reserved sauce.
