Deep Fried Duck Leg Quarter s
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 45 minutes | Serves 4
4 (½-pound / 227-g) skin-on duck leg quarters
2 medium garlic cloves, minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  1. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. On a clean work surface, rub the duck leg quarters with garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Arrange the leg quarters in the basket and spritz with cooking spray.
  4. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 300ºF (150ºC) and set time to 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, remove from the oven. Flip the leg quarters. Increase temperature to 375ºF (190ºC) and set time to 15 minutes. Return to the oven and continue cooking.
  6. When cooking is complete, the leg quarters should be well browned and crispy.
  7. Remove the duck leg quarters from the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
