Teriyaki Rump Steak with Broccoli and Capsicum
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 13 minutes | Serves 4
½ pound (227 g) rump steak
¹⁄₃ cup teriyaki marinade
1½ teaspoons sesame oil
½ head broccoli, cut into florets
2 red capsicums, sliced
Fine sea salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking spray

Toss the rump steak in a large bowl with teriyaki marinade. Wrap the bowl in plastic and refrigerate to marinate for at least an hour.

Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Discard the marinade and transfer the steak in the pan. Spritz with cooking spray.

Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 400ºF (205ºC) and set time to 13 minutes.

Flip the steak halfway through.

When cooking is complete, the steak should be well browned.

Meanwhile, heat the sesame oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli and capsicum. Sprinkle with salt and ground black pepper. Sauté for 5 minutes or until the broccoli is tender.

Transfer the air fried rump steak on a plate and top with the sautéed broccoli and capsicum. Serve hot.
