Garlic Edamam

1 (16-ounce / 454-g) bag frozen edamame in pods
2 tablespoon olive oil, divided
½ teaspoon garlic salt
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Place the edamame in a medium bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Toss to coat well.
- Stir together the garlic salt, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if desired) in a small bowl. Pour the mixture into the bowl of edamame and toss until the edamame is fully coated.
- Grease the air fryer basket with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Place the edamame in the greased basket.
- Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 375ºF (190ºC), and set time to 9 minutes.
- Stir the edamame once halfway through the cooking time.
- When cooking is complete, the edamame should be crisp. Remove from the oven to a plate and serve warm.
