Mozzarella Pepperoni Pizza Bites

1 cup finely shredded Mozzarella cheese
½ cup chopped pepperoni
¼ cup Marinara sauce
1 (8-ounce / 227-g) can crescent roll dough
All-purpose flour, for dusting
  1. In a small bowl, stir together the cheese, pepperoni and Marinara sauce.
  2. Lay the dough on a lightly floured work surface. Separate it into 4 rectangles. Firmly pinch the perforations together and pat the dough pieces flat.
  3. Divide the cheese mixture evenly between the rectangles and spread it out over the dough, leaving a ¼-inch border. Roll a rectangle up tightly, starting with the short end. Pinch the edge down to seal the roll. Repeat with the remaining rolls.
  4. Slice the rolls into 4 or 5 even slices. Place the slices in the baking pan, leaving a few inches between each slice.
  5. Slide the baking pan into Rack Position 2, select Roast, set temperature to 350ºF (180ºC) and set time to 12 minutes.
  6. When cooking is complete, the rolls will be golden brown with crisp edges. Remove from the oven and serve hot.
