Cheesy Crab Toasts
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes | Makes 15 to 18 toasts
1 (6-ounce / 170-g) can flaked crab meat, well drained
3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
¼ cup shredded Parmesan cheese
¼ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon lemon juice
1 loaf artisan bread, French bread, or baguette, cut into ⅜-inch-thick slices
- In a large bowl, stir together all the ingredients except the bread slices.
- On a clean work surface, lay the bread slices. Spread ½ tablespoon of crab mixture onto each slice of bread.
- Arrange the bread slices in the baking pan in a single layer.
- Slide the baking pan into Rack Position 1, select Convection Bake, set temperature to 360ºF (182ºC), and set time to 5 minutes.
- When cooking is complete, the tops should be lightly browned. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
