Air Fried Chicken Wings

2 pounds (907 g) chicken wings
Cooking spray
Marinade:
1 cup buttermilk
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
Coating:
1 cup flour
1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
2 teaspoons salt
  1. Whisk together all the ingredients for the marinade in a large bowl.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss well. Transfer to the refrigerator to marinate for at least an hour.
  3. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Set aside.
  4. Thoroughly combine all the ingredients for the coating in a shallow bowl.
  5. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and shake off any excess. Roll them in the coating mixture.
  6. Place the chicken wings in the basket in a single layer. Mist the wings with cooking spray.
  7. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 360ºF (182ºC), and set time to 18 minutes.
  8. Flip the wings halfway through the cooking time.
  9. When cooking is complete, the wings should be crisp and golden brown on the outside. Remove from the oven to a plate and serve hot.
