Cripsy Artichoke Bites
Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 8 minutes | Serves 4
14 whole artichoke hearts packed in water
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
¹⁄₃ cup panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Cooking spray
  1. Drain the artichoke hearts and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  2. Place the flour on a plate. Beat the egg in a shallow bowl until frothy. Thoroughly combine the bread crumbs and Italian seasoning in a separate shallow bowl.
  3. Dredge the artichoke hearts in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally roll in the bread crumb mixture until evenly coated.
  4. Place the artichoke hearts in the air fryer basket and mist them with cooking spray.
  5. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 375ºF (190ºC), and set time to 8 minutes.
  6. Flip the artichoke hearts halfway through the cooking time.
  7. When cooking is complete, the artichoke hearts should start to brown and the edges should be crispy. Remove from the oven and let the artichoke hearts sit for 5 minutes before serving.
