Cripsy Artichoke

14 whole artichoke hearts packed in water
½ cup all-purpose flour
1 egg
¹⁄₃ cup panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Cooking spray
- Drain the artichoke hearts and dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Place the flour on a plate. Beat the egg in a shallow bowl until frothy. Thoroughly combine the bread crumbs and Italian seasoning in a separate shallow bowl.
- Dredge the artichoke hearts in the flour, then in the beaten egg, and finally roll in the bread crumb mixture until evenly coated.
- Place the artichoke hearts in the air fryer basket and mist them with cooking spray.
- Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 375ºF (190ºC), and set time to 8 minutes.
- Flip the artichoke hearts halfway through the cooking time.
- When cooking is complete, the artichoke hearts should start to brown and the edges should be crispy. Remove from the oven and let the artichoke hearts sit for 5 minutes before serving.
