Breaded Bananas with Chocolate Sauce

¼ cup cornstarch
¼ cup plain bread crumbs
1 large egg, beaten
3 bananas, halved crosswise
Cooking spray
Chocolate sauce, for serving
  1. Place the cornstarch, bread crumbs, and egg in three separate bowls.
  2. Roll the bananas in the cornstarch, then in the beaten egg, and finally in the bread crumbs to coat well.
  3. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  4. Arrange the banana halves in the basket and mist them with cooking spray.
  5. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 350ºF (180ºC), and set time to 7 minutes.
  6. After about 5 minutes, flip the bananas and continue to air fry for another 2 minutes.
  7. When cooking is complete, remove the bananas from the oven to a serving plate. Serve with the chocolate sauce drizzled over the top.
