Montreal Steak and Seeds Burgers

1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1 pound (454 g) 85% lean ground beef
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
4 hamburger buns
Mayonnaise, for serving

Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.

Put the seeds, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and ground black pepper in a food processor. Pulse to coarsely ground the mixture.

Put the ground beef in a large bowl. Pour in the seed mixture and drizzle with Worcestershire sauce. Stir to mix well.

Divide the mixture into four parts and shape each part into a ball, then bash each ball into a patty. Arrange the patties in the pan.

Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 350ºF (180ºC) and set time to 10 minutes.

Flip the patties with tongs halfway through the cooking time.

When cooked, the patties will be well browned.

Assemble the buns with the patties, then drizzle the mayo over the patties to make the burgers. Serve immediately.
