Air Fried Bacon Pinwheels
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Makes 8 pinwheels
1 sheet puff pastry
2 tablespoons maple syrup
¼ cup brown sugar
8 slices bacon
Ground black pepper, to taste
Cooking spray
  1. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Roll the puff pastry into a 10-inch square with a rolling pin on a clean work surface, then cut the pastry into 8 strips.
  3. Brush the strips with maple syrup and sprinkle with sugar, leaving a 1-inch far end uncovered.
  4. Arrange each slice of bacon on each strip, leaving a ⅛-inch length of bacon hang over the end close to you. Sprinkle with black pepper.
  5. From the end close to you, roll the strips into pinwheels, then dab the uncovered end with water and seal the rolls.
  6. Arrange the pinwheels in the basket and spritz with cooking spray.
  7. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 360ºF (182ºC) and set time to 10 minutes.
  8. Flip the pinwheels halfway through.
  9. When cooking is complete, the pinwheels should be golden brown. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
