Traditional Latkes
Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Makes 4 latkes
1 egg
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 medium potatoes, peeled and shredded, rinsed and drained
¼ teaspoon granulated garlic
½ teaspoon salt
Cooking spray
  1. Spritz the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  2. Whisk together the egg, flour, potatoes, garlic, and salt in a large bowl. Stir to mix well.
  3. Divide the mixture into four parts, then flatten them into four circles. Arrange the circles onto the basket and spritz with cooking spray.
  4. Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 380ºF (193ºC) and set time to 10 minutes.
  5. Flip the latkes halfway through.
  6. When cooked, the latkes will be golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
