Fast Cinnamon Toast
Prep time: 5 minutes | Cook time: 5 minutes | Serves 6
1½ teaspoons cinnamon
1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
½ cup sugar
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
12 slices whole wheat bread
- Combine all the ingredients, except for the bread, in a large bowl. Stir to mix well.
- Dunk the bread in the bowl of mixture gently to coat and infuse well. Shake the excess off. Arrange the bread slices in the air fryer basket.
- Put the air fryer basket on the baking pan and slide into Rack Position 2, select Air Fry, set temperature to 400ºF (205ºC) and set time to 5 minutes.
- Flip the bread halfway through.
- When cooking is complete, the bread should be golden brown.
- Remove the bread slices from the oven and slice to serve.
