BRANDI DIDN’T WANT anything to spoil tonight for Adrienne. She has been planning this bachelorette party for over a month now. Instead of their usual bar hopping, Brandi had rented a party bus. This unique limousine was actually a retrofitted motor-home with leather couches, a wet bar and a stripper pole. Brandi even managed to find a stripper to accompany them for the night. She wanted Adrienne to have a proper send off.
Adrienne had been one of her best workers, and she would miss her, but who was she to deny anyone true love. Sheri, Amber, and Lori also planned to join them tonight. Brandi had given them all the night off, paid of course.
After they had settled in, Brandi popped open a bottle of Champagne. “Champagne anyone?”
All the girls raised their glasses to toast Adrienne and let the party begin. The music was loud and multi colored dots of light danced around the bus from the disco ball on the ceiling. The light-show managed to create a magical atmosphere. Everyone was in good spirits, chatting and singing along to the music. The air was especially heavy with everyone’s perfume.
The limousine bus stopped at their first destination, The Rave. The chauffeur let them out, and they somehow managed to all pile out of the bus at once. To keep with the disco theme of the bus, they dressed in vintage seventies party dresses. Brandi instructed everyone, “Okay y’all, we’ve got the bus for three more hours. Let's start out here and see where the night takes us.”
As soon as they entered the bar, the multicolored lights shined down on them, and she swore all eyes turned to them. Brandi didn’t think it was possible, but she it felt it was hotter in here than outside. The place was jam packed. Everyone in here was shoulder to shoulder. There was no room on the dance floor, so they made their way to the bar to get drinks. Brandi didn’t see them staying here for long.
Adrienne stayed back, so Brandi decided to keep her company. “Just think, in a few days you will be a married woman.” Brandi had to admit that Adrienne appeared happier since she met Billy Andrews.
Adrienne and Brandi have been friends for years. “You know Brandi; it’s time you moved on, too. Plenty of guys around Stewart would love to have you on their arm.”
The very idea of dating sent a shiver down Brandi’s spine.
