Continue along rue de Monceau and turn left at rue de Courcelles, then left again onto Boulevard Haussmann and the Musée Jacquemart-André will be on your left at No. 158. This imposing town house is home to an exquisite collection of Italian Renaissance and 18th-century French works of art. It includes frescoes by Tiepolo, paintings by Mantegna, Uccello, Boucher and Fragonard as well as tapestries and furniture. These beautiful works were amassed by 19th-century collector Edouard André and his wife Nelie Jacquemart.

Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild
Walk back up Boulevard Haussmann and continue until you come to rue Berryer, the imposing compound of the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild will be on your left at No. 11. Designed by Leon Ohnet and built between 1872 and 1878, this magnificent mansion with its extensive garden is located right in the heart of the most fashionable district of Paris. Adèle Hannah Charlotte Rothschild, widow of Salomon James de Rothschild, left the property to the state in 1922, disinheriting her daughter, Hélène, for having married a Roman Catholic. Today the building is home to a number of cultural institutions, including the Centre Nationale de la Photographie.
