Fresh Fruit Compote

Compotes can be made with a variety of fresh or dried fruits. Fresh fruits that avoid spikes in blood sugar include stoned fruits such as peaches, plums, apricots, and cherries, or berries such as strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, complemented by citrus fruit such as oranges or tangerines.
