Week 18 Day 2

Value Your Friendships

Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

“Is Christ divided?” What can part

The members from the Head?

Oh, how should those be one in heart

For whom our Saviour bled?

Abraham Lincoln enjoyed companionship more than most people do. Spending time with others in conversation or leisure was important to him. He valued friendship above almost everything else in his life. And for all of his hard work, he always found time to spend with his friends. “The better part of one’s life consists of his friendships,” he said. This rare display of friendship spoke volumes about Lincoln and his character. To be a good friend takes sincerity and integrity and the ability to enjoy oneself. Do you value friendships? If not, why not?
