HOW TO MAKE
smoothies

Just put all the ingredients in the blender for these smoothies and blitz until smooth. These are quite thick smoothies so add a splash of water or more milk if you prefer a thinner consistency.
CHOCOLATE
185 ml (6 fl oz/¾cup) coconut milk
½ banana
1 tablespoon maple syrup
20 g (¾ oz) chopped dates
1 pinch salt
½ tablespoon cocoa powder
MATCHA
1 teaspoon Matcha powder (not green tea)
½ apple, cored and chopped
20 g (¾ oz) trimmed silverbeet (Swiss chard) or baby English spinach
10 mint leaves
¼ banana
½ pear, cored
100 ml (3½ fl oz) water
BEETROOT
50 g (1¾ oz) peeled and chopped raw beetroot (beets)
½ apple, cored and chopped
¼ cucumber, peeled and chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 small handful chopped flat-leaf (Italian) parsley
80 ml (2½ fl oz/1/3 cup) water
BERRY GOOD
150 g (5½ oz) blueberries
200 ml (7 fl oz) almond milk
8 mint leaves
1 tablespoon goji berries
1 generous squeeze lime juice
GREEN
¼ cucumber, peeled
60 g (2¼ oz) fennel bulb, sliced
25 g (1 oz/½ cup) baby English spinach leaves
½ apple, cored and chopped
80 ml (2½ fl oz/1/3 cup) thin pumpkin seed milk or water
TUTTI FRUITI
70 g (2½ oz) watermelon, chopped
100 g (3½ oz) chopped mango
1 small peach, peeled and chopped
2 tablespoons coconut milk
