I think the Johnnys are getting rattled;

they are afraid of our repeating rifles.

They say we are not fair,

that we have guns that we load up on Sunday

and shoot all the rest of the week.

This I know, I feel a good deal more confidence

in myself with a 16 shooter in my hands

than I used to with a single shot rifle.
