STITCHES & NOTES

Note: Hold Round 1 sts to the front while working Round 2 sts.

Dc3tog: Yarn over, insert hook into stitch or space indicated and pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, (yarn over, insert hook into same stitch or space and pull up a loop, yarn over and pull through 2 loops) two times, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

Base rnd, each side: Multiple of 4 + 3 + corner sts.

Begin 2 sts to left of corner st.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, sc in same st, *sc in next st, ch 8, slip st in 5th ch from hook, ch 3, skip 1 st, sc in next 2 sts; rep from * around, omitting last sc, join with slip st to first sc.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 3, dc3tog into next skipped base-rnd st, ch 3, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around, omitting last sc, join with slip st to first sc. Fasten off.
