Bead Stitch: Insert hook into st and pull up a loop, (yarn over and pull through 1 loop) three times, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook.

Picot-3: Ch 3, slip st in 3rd chain from hook.

Trtr3tog (triple treble 3 together): (Yarn over) four times, insert hook into next st and pull up a loop, (yarn over and pull through 2 loops) four times; rep from * two times more, yarn over and pull through all 4 loops on hook.

Base rnd, each side: Multiple of 4 sts + 1 + corner sts.

Begin 3 sts to left of corner st.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, Bead Stitch in same st, *[sc in next 3 sts, Bead Stitch in next st] to 2 sts before corner st, sc in next 2 sts, (sc, Bead Stitch, sc) in corner st, sc in next 2 sts, Bead Stitch in next st; rep from * around, omitting last Bead Stitch, join with slip st to first st.

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st, *ch 5, trtr3tog over next 3 sc, Picot-3, ch 5**, [sc in next st, ch 5, trtr3tog over next 3 sc, Picot-3, ch 5] to corner st, 2 sc in corner st; rep from * around, ending last rep at **, join with slip st to first sc. Fasten off.
