Pakistan's Special Services Group (SSG) is an internationally recognized elite force within the Pakistan Army. Established in 1956, the SSG has played a crucial role in special military operations, counterterrorism and other high-risk missions both domestically and internationally. This unit is highly specialized and is known for its skill in clandestine operations, hostage rescue, deep infiltration and direct assault in adverse environments.

Members of the SSG are selected from the best of the Pakistan Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy and Air Force.
