6. TOMATO CHUTNEY

INGREDIENTS:

2 kilo tomatoes

1 kilo sugar

55 gms. salt

½ bottle vinegar

Spices to be ground

60 gms. chillies

50 gms. garlic (after peeling)

50 gms. ginger

METHOD:

1. Grind all the spices with vinegar.

2. Slice tomatoes; add vinegar and sugar, and stew them until it forms a pulp.

3. Add all the other ingredients and mix well. Simmer on a low fire until thick.

NOTE: It can be kept for atleast 6 months.
