hy did I answer the phone? I knew before I picked up the call that this wasn’t going to be a good thing. I felt it as soon as I saw his name floated across the screen of my phone. Looking at the hour, I want to kick myself. I can’t believe this.
“Don’t do it, Nik. You don’t have to do it. You should be sleeping. You have students to see. Tomorrow afternoon, but that’s not the point here. This has disastrous consequences written all over it. This is NOT the opening you’re looking for.”
I’m telling myself these things even as I get into my car to drive over to Wilson’s Bar.
“One o’clock in the freaking morning and where are you, Zo? At the freakin’ bar where a billion drunk, groping men are just waiting for your tight ass to show up. Why are you here, Zo?” I change my voice to respond to my question. “To rescue the man you’re too afraid to tell you’re overly infatuated with from himself. You may be madly in love with him. He calls you out of the blue and you come running. Sad Zo.”
When I open the front door, I immediately spot my “damsel.” He’s surrounded by a crowd of over eager women who are waiting for him to give them the “all clear” then take them to bed. None of them seem to care that he can barely lift his head from the bar.
I step into the bar and instantly regret what I threw on to come pick this man up. I may as well have put on my cat suit. I’m wearing the equivalent of one. This is beyond annoying. My fitted jeans are accentuating my ass. The tank I slipped on is like a second skin on me which means I might as well have my breasts on display. I’m a walking piece of eye candy to the inebriated souls in this room. It’s evidenced by the numerous leering looks I receive as soon as I am in the light of the room. A man brushes up against me a little too closely when he walks by to exit.
That one I ignore. The one I can’t ignore is the one who openly grabs hold to both of my ass cheeks and squeezes. Before I can turn to give the man a piece of my mind, he is lifted off his feet and slammed into the nearest wall.
“I am not in any state to curb my need to tear your body apart. My advice is to apologize now or be without balls for the rest of your natural life.”
The man’s eyes look huge as he realizes the truth of his situation. Trevor has a knife at the seat of the man’s pants and is pressing upward
