Renee Wynn was raised Southern but now resides in the North. She began writing at the age of seven as a way to cope with the sudden death of her father. Always a daddy’s girl, it was hard for her to talk to anyone about how she was feeling so she began to write what she felt on paper.
A creative writing class in high school helped her to begin a journal that also led her to channel the stories she made up in her mind. In college, she was a reporter for the college newspaper but never thought she could ever write anything of significance.
Thirty-two years after college, she’s still writing. She works for a large scientific company and is in the process of completing another novel.
Renee has one son, who she calls her miracle baby. After thirty years of marriage, her husband, Michael, still makes her breath catch in her throat when she looks at him. They are a very close-knit family who enjoy vacationing together and having those small, intimate family talks.
