Six Easy Pockets
wasn’t easy! This book took me way too long to write, but with the support and encouragement of some exceedingly patient friends and family, I somehow managed to finish the thing. Here are a few of the kind-hearted souls who stuck with me on this one. Thanks, you guys! Joanna Innes, Peter Lacey, Sally Handley, Judy Buch, Diana Manley, Wayne Cameron, Jane Bishop, Bob Spearman, Linda Lovely, Ellis Vidler, Polly Iyer, Bill Burns, Ian and Susan Whatley, Anne Saunders, Sharon Politi, Paul Boudreau, and Beverly Boudreau. The fabulous Karen Phillips once again designed a cover I adore. Kathy Miller (who suffered one herself) gave me some tips on dislocated shoulders, as did my nephew Chris Politi, who is a super-duper physician assistant. Dr. Rob Jones also weighed in on dislocated shoulders, and Howard (Haird) Lewis was my unfailing horse expert. He and Nora Bryant took me riding, and Howard combed my horse scenes for mistakes, because like Jessie, I am a cat person. And last, but never least, thank you, John Blackburn. If patience is a virtue, you, dear hubby, are a saint.
