Simple Envelope

1 Begin with the minor color side facing up. Fold in half, side-to-side. Unfold.
 

2 Fold in half, side-to-side, in the other direction.
 

3 Fold both sides to meet in the center.
 

4 The completed step, with image enlarged. Make a squash fold on the top of each side.
 

5 Fold each side behind.
 

6 Fold the outside bottom corner of each top flap up to where the major color begins. Repeat on the other side.
 

7 Fold the bottom of the top flap up as indicated. Note that there is no specific landmark for this fold.
 

8 The completed step.
 

9 Turn the model over. Fold the bottom up to the same point used in step 7, making sure that the bottom edges match.
 

10 Fold the bottom folded edge of the top flap up to partially cover the major color. Repeat on the other side.
 

11 Rotate the model. The completed Simple Envelope.
