Collapsible Box
1 Start with the side you want to be inside the box facing up. Align the bottom side with the top side, but do not fold all the way across. Make a small pinch at each edge as a landmark for the next step. Open.
2 Bring the bottom side to the nearest pinches, but do not fold all the way across. Make a small pinch at each edge as a landmark for the next step. Open. Do the same with the top side.
3 Bring the bottom side to the nearest pinches, but do not fold all the way across. Make a small pinch at each edge as a landmark for the next step. Open. Do the same with the top side.
4 Fold the bottom side to the nearest pinches. Repeat on the top side.
5 Fold the bottom folded edge to the center pinches. Unfold. Repeat with the top folded edge.
6 Unfold the folds made in step 4.
7 Turn the paper over. Repeat step 1 in the other direction.
8 Repeat step 2 in the other direction.
9 Repeat step 3 in the other direction.
10 Repeat step 4 in the other direction. Turn the model over.
11 Fold the outer folded edges in to the center vertical crease. Unfold.
12 Make the folds as shown. Note that you will have to make the paper 3-D in order to align the landmarks and make these folds. Unfold.

15 Fold the side folded edges into the center, along existing creases.

17 Fold the right and left sides in towards the center.
18 Note the horizontal shaded flap. Fold it in half as shown.
19 The completed step.
20 Rotate the model. Repeat the folds made in steps 16 through 18.
21 Put your fingers inside the center of the model, and pull outward, making the model three-dimensional.
22 The completed step.
23 To collapse the box, push the outer edges down towards the base.
