HAWAIIAN HAM STRATA

I came up with this recipe because I love Hawaiian pizza, and wanted a casserole I could make ahead and pop in the oven at the last minute. This is a perfect main dish to take to a brunch or potluck.

Prep: 20 min. + chilling Cook: 35 min. + standing Makes: 8 servings

1. Combine first 5 ingredients. Transfer to a 13x9-in. baking dish; top with cheeses.

2. Whisk together remaining ingredients. Pour sauce over layers, pushing down, if necessary, with the back of a spoon to ensure muffins absorb liquid. Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour or overnight.

3. Preheat oven to 350°. Remove strata from refrigerator while oven heats. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown and bubbly, 30-40 minutes. Let strata stand 10 minutes before serving.
