Cheese Spread

8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup evaporated milk

1 cup mayonnaise

Garlic powder

Grate the cheese and combine with the evaporated milk. Heat the mixture in a saucepan on low heat until the cheese is melted. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool. Add mayonnaise and the garlic powder to taste. Place in a small serving bowl, cover, and chill until ready to serve. Serve on crackers.
