This sauce is a delicious complement to ham, other pork dishes, and turkey.
¼ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
¼ cup water
½ cup golden raisins
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon butter
¾ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
⅛ teaspoon pepper
⅛ teaspoon ground cloves
⅛ teaspoon ground mace
½ cup jellied cranberry sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat stir together the brown sugar, water, raisins, vinegar, butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, cloves, mace, and cranberry sauce. Stir until the cranberry sauce melts. Serve warm.
