Tomato Gravy

This is delicious gravy to serve over meatloaf.

2 tablespoons butter or margarine

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

⅓ cup beef broth

1 (8-ounce) can tomato sauce

¼ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

In a small saucepan on medium-low heat melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and cook, whisking constantly, for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the broth and the tomato sauce. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until thickened. Whisk in the salt and pepper. Pour into a gravy boat and serve hot.
