1 (15-ounce) can peach halves, drained
1 (15-ounce) can pear halves, drained
1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (15.5-ounce) jar apple rings, drained
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup (1 stick) margarine, softened
1 teaspoon cornstarch
½ cup dry sherry
In a casserole dish layer the peaches, pears, pineapple, and apple rings, with the apple rings on top. In a small saucepan on medium heat mix the brown sugar and margarine. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and add the cornstarch and sherry and mix. Pour this mixture over the layered fruit and marinate overnight. When ready to serve, preheat the oven to 350° and bake for 30 minutes.
