Slow-Cooker Macaroni and Cheese
1 (16-ounce) box macaroni
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
1 (8-ounce) carton sour cream
¼ cup (½ stick) margarine
1 egg
2 (8-ounce) packages shredded fourcheese blend
Pepper
Cook the macaroni according to package directions with the salt and oil. Remove from the heat and drain. In a slow cooker combine the sour cream, margarine, egg, shredded cheese, and pepper to taste. Stir the cooked macaroni into this mixture. Cook for 1 hour on high.
Hint: Should you need a longer cooking time while at church or running errands, set the controls to low.
