Sophia’s Green Beans in Blankets

Billie’s and Louis’ longtime friend and next-door neighbor, Sophia DeMoss, provided this tasty twist on green beans.

1 pound bacon

1 (15-ounce) can whole green beans, drained

1 (16-ounce) bottle Catalina salad dressing

Preheat the oven to 350°. Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap 4 to 5 beans with a piece of bacon. Continue until all the beans are wrapped in bacon. Place the cut side of the bacon down in a Pyrex baking dish. Pour the Catalina dressing over the beans and bake for 45 minutes or until the bacon is done. Drain the grease from the baking dish and serve in the dish or transfer to another dish.
