Grilled Ham

Grilled ham is a great meat served in hot biscuits. And that combination is wonderful when served with grits and eggs. This can be the beginning of a delicious sandwich too.

Vegetable oil

Desired amount of cooked ham, sliced (½-inch slices)

Coat the bottom of a heavy skillet with a small amount of oil. Place the ham in the skillet and turn the heat to medium. Cook the ham until it is brown on one side; turn it over and brown on the other side. If the ham begins to stick, add a small amount of oil. Serve with grits and eggs.
