Baked Chicken

1 whole chicken, cut into eight pieces

¼ cup butter, melted

Salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 350°. Remove the excess fat from the chicken and wash the pieces. Place the chicken pieces skin side up on a lightly buttered baking pan. Baste with the melted butter and season with the salt and pepper to taste. Bake uncovered for 45 to 50 minutes until golden brown.
