Strawberries with Fluffy Cream Cheese Dip

1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 cups confectioners’ sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup whipped cream

Fresh whole strawberries

With an electric mixer at medium speed beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Fold in the whipped cream. Serve with the strawberries.

Hints: For a delightful citrus cream cheese dip add 1 tablespoon grated lime, lemon, or orange rind to the cream cheese mixture while beating. Another option is to add ¼ cup orange liqueur to the cream cheese mixture for an orange-flavored cream cheese, or 1/2 cup of orange marmalade could be beaten with the cream cheese mixture for another great flavor.
