Peppermint Ice Cream

1 (12-ounce) bag stick peppermints, crushed

1 quart (4 cups) milk

Pinch of salt

4 tablespoons cornstarch

In a large bowl mix the crushed peppermints, milk, salt, and cornstarch. Blend thoroughly. Place in the freezer until frozen.

Hint: This can be frozen in old-fashioned ice trays with the dividers removed.

YIELD: 1 QUART
