This makes a marvelous topping for fresh strawberries.
3 tablespoons apple jelly
1 teaspoon concentrated lemon juice
½ teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon water
1 pint fresh strawberries
In a saucepan over medium heat combine the apple jelly and lemon juice. Cook, stirring continuously, until the jelly melts. In a small mixing bowl dissolve the cornstarch in the water. Add to the jelly mixture. Cook and stir until the glaze thickens. Wash and stem the strawberries. Drizzle the glaze over the strawberries.
