Conclusion

You made it! Congratulations for plowing through all 444 pages of my inner monologue. I hope you found the book entertaining and useful.

I had a lot more fun writing this than I expected. It was very rewarding revisiting a lot of the discussions I have previously had on investment topics in The Washington Post, Bloomberg, TheStreet.com, and from my blog, The Big Picture.

It’s taken me decades to accumulate the stories, insights, and wisdom you have just consumed. I am extremely confident that if you implement these ideas, you will become wealthier, happier, and much less stressed about your financial circumstances.

Sometimes, you put something out into the world, and you don’t get the response you were hoping for: “Maybe that’s true, but I still think Cisco is a great stock.” It is very gratifying to find out 25 years later that many of the outlier positions and arguments I have previously made turned out to be (mostly) right.

Hopefully, 25 years from now, this book will still be useful to investors.

Until then, I want to hear from you: If this book helped you, and how, what you want more color on, what was confusing, and anything else you want to learn more about.
