Fox, Luacine Clark
LDS. American, 1914–2002. Born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of President J. Reuben Clark, Jr. and Luacine Annetta Savage, she lived in Washington, D.C.; Salt Lake City, Utah; and Mexico City. She attended the University of Utah; her piano teachers included Florence Bennion, José Velasquez, and Mabel Borg Jenkins, and she studied harmony and composition with Tracy Y. Cannon. She wrote and produced a radio program, “Story Telling Time,” for KSL for many years; other creative work includes award-winning media productions, Book of Mormon dramas, general conference productions, and two cantatas. She was a member of the YWMIA General Board, and she and her husband, Orval C. Fox, served as missionaries in Nauvoo, Illinois. They have three children.
