Green, Carolee Curtis

LDS. American, born 1940 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended the University of Utah. Her compositions have been awarded prizes in Ensign contests. Other interests include playing piano and organ, oil painting, mathematics, and family activities. She has held many teaching and music positions in the Church. In 1989 she returned to the University of Utah, where she received Bachelor and Master of Music degrees, both in Composition, as well as many composition prizes. For several years she taught ear training, sight-singing, and theory in the University’s School of Music. She is married to Jack L. Green, and they are the parents of seven children.
