GRILLED AUTUMN APPLE
and BLUE CHEESE TOPPING

MAKES 6 SERVINGS

2 large apples, peeled, cored, and cut in half lengthwise

Olive oil, for brushing

1 cup crumbled blue cheese

Brush the apple halves with olive oil and, at the same time you grill the bread, grill the apples over the fire, turning once, until the apples are golden and have good grill marks. Slice the apples and serve on the grilled bread, topped with the crumbled blue cheese.
