ANNA EMILIA LAITINEN

Weather, seasons, and landscapes are what inspire Anna Emilia Laitinen, the daughter of strawberry farmers. It feels natural to observe what happens around me in nature, the artist says, and how things are connected to each otherhow they make each other possible, like the way a shore surrounds a lake to form it, and the way that rain and sunshine enable seeds to grow. Patterns and colors come with the weather outside, and they are reflected in my cup of green tea.
