ISADORA REIMÃO

Isadora Reimão likes to define her paintings of animals and monsters as nonhuman self-portraits. She says, I like the antitheses of fascination-fear, beauty-nightmare, and sweet-terrible. Some of my recent illustrations are my visual interpretation of characters from Mário de Andrades story Macunaíma. And other illustrations may be a start for new stories.
