The idea here is to get you thinking about the energies behind groups of cards. We have discussed the elements and the four suits, but there are cards that seem to relate clearly to a particular aspect of life. Some of these are so obvious that every Tarot Reader would see them the same way. An example of this would be the Death Card, which is universally understood as a major ending and transformation. Most of the other cards will change their meaning with each reading and with each person who reads them. The lists below are just another way of stretching your mind and encouraging you to associate one card with the others around it. Remember that my interpretations of the cards and my way of grouping them won't necessarily be yours, and yours need not be the same as anyone else's.
