Then David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the LORD God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.”
—1 CHRONICLES 28:20 ESV
What a great father-son speech we see in 1 Chronicles 28. Truth being passed down from dad to kid.
That’s what the Bible does for us, you know. We read the Bible, and it’s just like our Dad is talking to us. And He’s saying exactly what David said to Solomon.
Hey, you! Hey, kid! Be strong! Have courage. Why? Because I’m with you.
He’s with you, friend. Do you see that now? You are two days away from being finished with 100 Days to Brave. Two.
Do you see how brave God has made you? Jesus was brave, through and through. Jesus is brave. And we see Him modeling it for us, from the way He lived His life on earth to the way He loves us today.
There is not an area of your life that can’t be touched and improved by courage. When you look back at the time you’ve spent in this book and in God’s Word, do you see that?
Courage isn’t just for mighty warriors. It’s for you (because you are becoming courageous). It’s for your relationship with God. It’s for your dreams and your calling and your work. It’s for your relationships with fellow humans.
Courage isn’t just for mighty warriors. It’s for you (because you are becoming courageous).
You can be brave during all the changes of life. You can be brave in the face of pain. You can be brave with your health. Brave with your money. Brave wherever you are!
Your God will not leave you or forsake you. And because you know that, you are brave.
BE BRAVE: What’s the biggest change you see in your life over the past few months?
